Proceeds from the 2008 Glitter Ball will benefit the Forbes Norris MDA/ALS Research Center. The Forbes Norris Center has been at the forefront of the neuromuscular disease research and clinical care for over 25 years. It is one of the largest and most eminent ALS clinical research centers in the United States. Their commitment to research allows them to bring potential ALS treatments quickly out of the lab and to the bedside, assuring quicker effective interventions which may slow or stop the progression of the disease. This compassionate care and concern approach encourages a greater quality of life for all those affected by the overwhelming disease, ALS, until a cure can be found.
