ABOUT US Founded in 1996, the Junior Committee is comprised of young women who have an interest in supporting the Medical Center. We are the only group of young professional women in San Francisco focused on medical philanthropy, and, as such, we have made a substantial impact. Over the last five years alone, we have raised over $245,000 for the CPMC Foundation. The Junior Committee’s primary fundraising event is the Glitter Ball, an annual black tie gala which attracts more than 300 attendees for an elegant evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing. Last year’s Glitter Ball, held at the Fairmont Hotel on April 21st, raised a record $64,000 for the CPMC Bayview Child Health Center. We are eager to build on this incredible momentum and plans are already in the works for the 2008 Glitter Ball, which will be held on Saturday, April 12th at the Fairmont Hotel JUNIOR COMMITTEE BOARD, 2007 - 2008 President: Dare Felchlin If you have any questions or would like to reach us, please feel free to contact us at: info@cpmcfjc.org.
